Giant Banyan trees inspire, private beaches are waiting to be called your own, and amazing coral crevices to be explored. Go fishing for the big one, or just swing in your hammock whilst endless panoramic sea views are there to gaze upon and simply "be".
Whether you decide to snorkel in the lagoon, go fishing, paddle in a kayak, soak up the sun, explore the forest or simply relax and enjoy the panoramic water views and 'blow holes' from the deck as you enjoy the gentle sea breezes and glorious sunsets at the end of the day,explore at your leisure and then reflect how lucky we are that places like Savasi still exist.
Coral Crevices
Explore Savasi Island's unique coral crevices... you will feel you have entered another world. These unique natural geographic features will have you enthralled. Discover your own hidden beach, and retreat to another world.
Turtles
Paddle around the island and observe the abundant sea life inhabiting the coral reef right on your doorstep, including sea turtles which are now a protected species.
Mangroves
A web of life. See if you can find the delectable mud crabs hiding in the muddy bottoms of estuaries and mangroves during the day. Mud crabs come out at night and are at their best in December when you can have a go at catching some for your dinner.
Dolphins
Take a fishing charter and you are likely to see some of these amazing creatures or take a trip to the Salt Lake where schools of dolphins can regularly be seen.
Stand Up Paddle Boards
Stand up paddle surfing is a fun water activity suitable for everyone and there’s no need to schedule around high or low tides, just grab a board and go.
Coral Spawning
An annual event, where there is a good chance you can witness sponges, brittle stars and marine worms spawn at the same time. Tiny fish swarm to the area to feed on the spawn drawing bigger fish in. Catching sight of coral spawning is truly an amazing event.
Waterfalls
There are many waterfalls to explore and this can be a whole day, or half day excursion. It is a cool, refreshing spectacular treat set amoungst untouched natural rainforest. Take your bathers!
Rainforest Hikes
Whether a gentle walk or a more serious hike, there are a range of rainforest experiences awaiting you, and all within an hour of the resort, these walks can be an hour or even a day!
Kayaks
Enjoy a calm paddle on the lagoon, or take a more challenging trip to the reef.
Fishing
Game fishing is likely to yield a Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackeral or Wahoo to name a few of the species that will test your skill and tantalize your palette when cooked to perfection by our Chef.
Diving
There are several local dive operators that can get you out to amazing reefs right on your doorstep and the water is warm year round! Sign up and get your certification. Or go snorkeling instead.

Cultural Journey
A unique and ancient culture that will intrigue. Visit the village, watch a meke and enjoy the local crafts and markets.
